8th Air Force Headquarters

Barksdale Air Force Base, LA

This 12 month, fast track design/build project consisted of restoration and renovation to the approximately 102,000 sq. ft. multi-story facility. The building houses the 8th Air Force Command Center, the 2nd Bomb Wing, and numerous other agencies of the Air Force. This historic building had been completely destroyed by fire. The project required a state-of-the-art IDS security system as well as approximately 78 miles of fiber optic cable.

Various support areas were provided including conference rooms, administrative space, public restrooms, security office, kitchenettes, and secured communication rooms.
