Fischer Housing Development
New Orleans, Louisiana
$18,969,882

Sixty-four newly constructed homes and a maintenance and management building to house a private management company's staff. The homes include single story handicap accessible homes, two-story single-family dwellings and two-story duplex and triplex homes, which encompass three city blocks. The project replicates existing New Orleans residential architecture featuring porches, balconies, wood and steel columns, brackets and hard siding for multi-family homes in lieu of apartment buildings. French Quarter style street lighting, brightly colored lap siding homes and alleyways with off street parking add to the typical old New Orleans neighborhood feel. The interiors were completed with modern residential materials and finishes.
