This design/build project consists of five multi-story buildings with a total of 300,000 sq. ft to accommodate 1,377 personnel. Most buildings received a complete design/build construction of interior spaces to achieve new “quality of life” living standards required by the Navy. Each module consists of two living/sleeping rooms, kitchenette, bath, and storage. Each building is equipped with various support areas including administrative spaces, laundry, lounges, recreation room, public restrooms, linen storage, and lobby. New state-of-the-art electrical and mechanical equipment were used to meet the demands of the Navy’s energy conservation efforts. |
